This is a Lionel 22922 O Scale Southern Pacific Intermodal Crane from 1998. This neat accessory is designed for use with Lionel‘s piggyback and container flatcars. The crane straddles a track and lifts the trailers or containers off the car and places them on the ground. It is also self propelled and can move to different places on its own. Really neat!! It takes some practice to use but once mastered it‘s one of the most fun of Lionel accessories. It measures 14 1/2 inches tall x 13 inches long x 8 1/2 inches wide.
This crane does not show signs of use, but does show signs of display. There is a bit of dust on this crane. It could use a light cleaning. The instruction manual is included. Overall condition is Excellent.
